On the Mid-Autumn Festival, Shen Zhiyi discovers that her family's new home only accommodates private quarters for her brother, sister, and parents, relegating her to a utility room with not even a holiday gift prepared for her. While clearing out belongings, she realizes her awards and mementos have been discarded as junk while her siblings' old items are cherished and displayed. Excluded from the family tree at dinner, stripped of the parking space she paid for to give to her sister, and with her guest room converted into her sister's piano room, a heartbroken Shen Zhiyi leaves for a transfer to Nancheng, where her outstanding career leads to a well-deserved promotion.
