The 60,000-Yuan Blind Date Trap, I Turn Around and Report the Whole Gang
Chen Yang, a researcher specializing in amphibians and reptiles, accepts an invitation to a blind date. At the dinner, the woman, Song Yao, and her family collude with the restaurant owner, Sun Hai, to maliciously order exorbitantly priced dishes. They prepare a medicinal hotpot using the Chinese three-striped box turtle, a nationally protected Class II animal, and price it at 48,000 yuan. During the meal, they secretly add controlled drugs to the water. After dinner, they demand that Chen Yang pay a bill of 62,000 yuan. Chen Yang pretends to pay, keeps the invoice, and secretly records evidence before filing real-name reports with multiple authorities. DNA species identification and drug testing confirm the gang's crimes.
