Orphan Ji Chuan was cheated during family division and given only the stagnant cove that everyone despised. Fortunately, a spiritually gifted big white goose accompanied and guided him. Under its direction, he accidentally discovered hidden waters beneath the surface, harvesting wild softshell turtles for his first bucket of gold and uncovering rare natural purple pearls. When a visiting jeweler bought the pearls at a premium, Ji Chuan secured his startup capital. He set out to thoroughly develop the stagnant cove, steadily build an aquaculture empire, and carve out a prosperous new life through honest hard work and extraordinary fortune.
