Chen Mo, an archival science graduate, joins the top-secret Bureau Seven. On the day he was born, he was implanted with an archive-reading system interface, becoming the first user connected to the Project Bai Ze Interface 0. Through the system, he can access latent records in archives, antique relics, and audio tapes to reconstruct the truth behind unsolved mysteries, at the cost of severe data-reading overload and splitting headaches. Partnering with elite field operative Su Wanying, the cerebral archivist and the combat specialist crack bizarre cases one after another—from the Yellow River aquatic monster and an eerie cold case in an old building to a subway disappearance. Every clue leads back to the truth behind his parents' deaths years ago and the very experiment that rewrote his fate.
