Zhang Junmo lost his parents in a car accident during childhood and was adopted by a rural couple. To support his family, he went to work in a factory, but after the factory was acquired by Zhongtai Group, the workers were laid off without compensation. To reclaim the workers' payout and clear their names, he joined Zhongtai as the personal driver for Chairman Li Jingshan. He uncovered that Li Jingshan's husband, Zhao Jida, was colluding with her "younger brother" Li Junkang to embezzle compensation funds and incite workers to cause trouble. To gather evidence, Zhang Junmo carried out tasks for Li Junkang, which caused Li Jingshan to misunderstand him. Just as he gathered all the evidence, he shielded Li Jingshan from a knife attack and saved her life. During a blood transfusion, their blood types matched, inadvertently exposing that Li Junkang was a fake brother planted by Zhao Jida using forged DNA paternity tests. After twenty years of treating a thief as her brother, the truth finally comes to light, and the real siblings reunite.
