An aloof doctor and a clingy, loyal merman. She is an emotionally detached prodigy whose only goal is to extend her short life through genetic modification; he is an abandoned mutant merman who sees her as his sole salvation. He corners her against walls demanding affection, only to be tamed compliantly by a single sedative injection; even when he evolves into an S-class hazardous creature, he obediently wears a suppression collar, never defying her will. When she achieves fame and intends to release him back to the sea, the teary-eyed merman clings to her: "Sister, are you going to abandon me? I have nothing left except you." Did he flee and she pursue? No, he is utterly obsessed.
