The Day He Put a Dementia Bracelet on Me
Gu Qinglan spent twenty-four years building Qinghe Nursing Home. On its anniversary, her husband Zhou Baichuan publicly declared that she had dementia. Her daughter Zhou Yurou cooperated with her father, put a yellow bracelet on her, confiscated her documents, and placed her under house arrest in the observation room. This was a conspiracy by her husband, in collusion with his mistress and illegitimate son, to embezzle the nursing home and sell off properties. Faced with unknown drugs and being forced to press her fingerprints, Gu Qinglan teamed up with a doctor and elderly residents in the home to collect evidence, guarding the charity beds and allowing her daughter to glimpse the truth of her father abandoning his daughter to protect his son. As the transaction approached, Zhou Yurou faced a choice, while Gu Qinglan was set to reclaim the right to control her own life and that of the elderly.
