The Day of the Property Transfer, I Arrived One Step Ahead of My Older Sister
Su Xiao spent eight years working tirelessly to buy a 67-square-meter apartment, only to discover that her own older sister had forged a letter of authorization and secretly listed it for sale. Her entire family conspired to force her to sell the apartment to help her nephew get into a good school by buying a home in a desirable school district and to pay off her younger brother's gambling debts. This time, Su Xiao refused to back down. She completed a registration of objection in advance and showed up with evidence on the day of the property transfer, publicly exposing her older sister's illegal actions. Even after being kicked out of her home, her family refused to give up. They livestreamed sob stories to gain sympathy and forged identities to take out high-interest loans, but Su Xiao anticipated and thwarted every move. In the end, she cut ties with her birth family for good, bought a new home of her own, and began living solely for herself.
