On a 40-degree scorching day, construction site supervisor Shen Yan bought a cup of "free refill" herbal tea for 18 yuan. When refilling, the landlady poured the water right beside his feet: "Squat down to catch it, you sun-bakers!" He is not an ordinary surveying worker, but the municipal project director. That night, out of his own pocket, he set up a cool supply station—mung bean soup, sour plum soup, salted soda water, all free for outdoor laborers. The black-hearted landlady reported him, framed him, and demanded 100,000 in compensation, not knowing that all evidence had long been captured by surveillance cameras. A cup of herbal tea can humiliate a person, but a cup of clean water can uphold the dignity of laborers under the blazing sun.
