Shen Qingci, chairwoman of the Shen Group, visits her own salon for an inspection, only to be harassed by the newly appointed manager, Lin Jiaojiao, right at the door. Arrogant and contemptuous of ordinary people, Lin Jiaojiao flaunts her status as the girlfriend of Shen Mozhou, subjecting Shen Qingci to humiliation and even demanding she kneel—unaware that Shen Qingci is the very mother-in-law she is scheduled to meet. Amidst the altercation, Shen Qingci realizes that Lin Jiaojiao is none other than the girlfriend her son intends to bring home.
