A crown prince fleeing his younger imperial brother after losing his cultivation travels to another world. Near death, he stumbles upon a marriage contest at the Liu family home, where a bride will toss an embroidered ball to choose her husband. Hoping for the food promised by a system as a reward, he catches the ball thrown by a woman known throughout the city as “ugly” and becomes bound to the Divine King System. Its rewards restore his severed meridians and cleanse and transform his body. The bedraggled beggar becomes a handsome young man, and his cultivation advances at astonishing speed.
