To fulfill the dying wish of the director—her late mother—Trần Tĩnh spends her entire fortune founding “Neighbor Home,” offering extremely low rent, a free cafeteria, and a gym to take in people living on the margins of society, earning praise as a “kindhearted landlady.” Yet her kindness is taken for granted. Instigated by Lâm Duyệt, the tenants join together for their own gain to frame her and sue her in court, driving her into bankruptcy. The painful lesson wakes her up, and she decides to tear off the image of an “easy-to-bully good person” and launch a sharp counterattack.
