The Family Split Gives Me Only a Skinny Pig, Yet It Says It Can Feed the Whole Village
After his father dies, Ye Sanwang and his mother are treated harshly by his uncle during the division of the family property, receiving only a dilapidated house, a barren hillside, and a skinny pig named Man Cang. By chance, Ye Sanwang discovers that Man Cang can talk and possesses the supernatural ability to accelerate crop growth. Mother and son use this power to overcome their struggle for survival, but it attracts the greed of his uncle and Guo Jindou, an unscrupulous grain merchant. The two repeatedly make their lives difficult through despicable schemes such as stealing grain, cutting off their water supply, and stealing their pig. Refusing to seek shortcuts, Ye Sanwang joins forces with Xu Qinghe and stands up for his rights using witnesses and evidence. Eventually, Man Cang's powers run out, and the family puts aside its extraordinary advantage to work and trade diligently. They settle old accounts, reclaim their ancestral farmland, break free from oppression, and build a stable, fulfilling life.
