Born of noble blood but cursed with a shattered magical core, Elysia is betrayed by the two childhood guardians sworn to protect her. In the depths of their cruelty, they strip away the last remnants of her magic. Left for dead, she is rescued by Lucas, the formidable Dragon King, who whisks her away to his castle and gives her the devotion she was always denied. When the truth finally comes to light and her betrayers fall to their knees in agony and regret, Elysia has already risen beside the Dragon King to rule as his queen.
