Ten years ago, soccer legend Zane Warren was framed for match-fixing. His right leg was shattered, his mother passed away, and he was reduced to living as a beggar. A decade later, Tessa Blake, owner of the Storm Wolves, discovers his talent and invites him to join the team. As coach, Zane leads the Storm Wolves from the City League all the way to the National League, once again facing his old nemesis, Nolan Pierce. Determined to stop him, Nolan stops at nothing—using doping, poisoning opponents, and even fielding mechanically enhanced players. With the support of his senior fellow disciple, Gavin Ward, and his teammates, Zane overcomes every obstacle, defeats the Fire Dragons in the National League finals, and exposes Nolan's match-fixing schemes, resulting in a lifetime ban for Nolan. Reclaiming his honor as the God of Soccer, Zane finally finds love with Tessa.
