The Governor's Concubine Who Humiliated Me Was Reborn as a Character in My Play (59 episodes)

Shen Jinghong, the prima donna of Kunqu opera, spent ten years performing to save up enough money to buy back her freedom, on the verge of leaving the troupe for an honest life. However, Liu Yurao, the Governor's third concubine, went mad with jealousy simply because the Governor once lingered to listen to her song. Disguised as a female vigilante in black, she robbed Shen Jinghong's theater chest and scattered her hard-earned money to beggars in the street. With nowhere to seek justice, Shen Jinghong was branded with the word "Actor", suffered endless humiliation, and ultimately died with hatred on the streets.
