The Land of Return and Peace, She Never Compromises
When gold-medal law firm partner Bai Xi buries her deceased mother, she encounters Mangshan Cemetery forcibly digging up the deceased's grave for a foreign investor to use for burying a pet dog. Facing pressure from capitalist privileges and public relations smearing, Bai Xi refuses private settlement, and teams up with her husband Tan Ming to collect closed-loop evidence and resort to law. Successfully fighting back against cemetery infringement, homestay hidden-camera extortion, and chain catering capital fraud in multiple cases, she relies on solid legal principles to shatter the arrogance and sophistry of the powerful again and again, seeking justice for ordinary people. Ultimately, the villains receive legal sanctions, and Bai Xi establishes a legal aid center, firmly upholding the belief: privilege cannot override the law and the dignity of the common people.
