Aquaculture researcher Lin Feng attends an arranged blind date meal, only to find himself trapped in a meticulously set snare. The other party extravagantly orders dishes, racking up an astronomical bill of 50,000 yuan for a single meal. Relying on his professional knowledge, Lin Feng instantly exposes on the spot that the crossback Arowana on the dining table is a national first-class protected animal. He feigns payment to retain complete evidence including invoices, recordings, and water samples, simultaneously reporting to multiple departments. Following the clues, he roots out this criminal gang that has long relied on blind-date setups to fleece customers and illegally trade protected animals, ultimately resulting in all members being legally sentenced.
