The Mortal World’s Hearth Fires Shatter, Cang Jin Returns to Tread the Heavens
Cang Jin, an ancient God of Slaughter, pacified the war between gods and demons and stabilized the three realms. She could have ascended the throne of the Heavenly Emperor, but desiring no power struggles, she sealed her divine core and retired into the mortal realm. For a century, she and her disciple Xing Chen lived quietly among mortals, guarding the simple, everyday warmth of human life. A flood overwhelmed a small town, and beneath the calm surface, the schemes of the heavenly court quietly emerged. The former gods, wary of her power, secretly plotted against Xing Chen. When her beloved disciple fell into a desperate plight, Cang Jin's sealed divine power awakened once more. She returned to the nine heavens, tearing off the hypocritical mask of the heavenly court. Having once yielded power, today she settles the score for sins. A trial of slaughtering gods and conquering heaven begins as Cang Jin single-handedly overthrows the corrupt divine authority.
