Shen Guizhou, the former master of Yunxiao Pavilion, was betrayed by his close friend Lu Xingzhou. His sect was destroyed and his internal energy was shattered. Concealing his identity as a bookshopkeeper, he held a jade fan and secretly investigated the unjust case. A rainy night murder led him to cross paths with Su Yan, the young master of Tingfeng Pavilion who excels in hidden weapons. From suspicion and testing to walking side by side, they traversed dangerous places to trace the Yunxiao roster. At the martial arts assembly, Shen Guizhou cleverly laid a trap, and Su Yan presented the incriminating evidence, publicly tearing off Lu Xingzhou's hypocritical mask. Relying not on peerless martial arts but on intellect to dispel the heavy mist, the two joined hands to seek justice for those who died unjustly.
