The devoted mother, Li Si, endured immense hardship to send her son Zhang Shan to college. Busy building his career, Zhang Shan was unable to return home for years, instead hiring the nanny Yang Shenglan to look after her daily life. Unexpectedly, the nanny harbored sinister intentions—not only tormenting and abusing Li Si in every conceivable way, but also plotting with her own son to seize Li Si's house. Just as Li Si was on the verge of death from the abuse, Zhang Shan finally returned. However, it was already too late, leaving him to face the bitter regret of wanting to care for a parent who could wait no longer.
