As the apocalypse arrives, Blue Star's ecosystem collapses, forcing humanity to retreat into underground arks as civilization slowly approaches its end. Lin Mo unexpectedly gains the ability to travel between reality and the otherworldly continent of Terra. He travels between the two worlds in his dreams, successively encountering the Elven Royal Court, the Holy Human Race, and the Demon Race. He also discovers that Terra possesses astral teleportation magic capable of connecting different planes of existence. To secure new living space for the Great Xia, which is on the brink of destruction, Lin Mo uses a World Tree seed and the recapture of Emerald Leaf City as bargaining chips to promote an alliance between Great Xia and the Elves. Under the strict restrictions imposed by the Holy Human Race, he also secures permission for 25,000 expeditionary troops to settle in Terra.
