On Mid-Autumn night, Zhou Dayong, a merchant on the old street, illegally blocked the fire lane to make parking fees. As a result, an ambulance couldn't enter the alley when Chen Chuan's father suffered a heart attack. He had to be carried on a door panel to the hospital, leaving him paralyzed on one side. Chen Chuan collected evidence to defend his rights and legally opened an emergency side door within his property. Zhou Dayong held a grudge, deliberately smashed the side door, and injured Chen Chuan's mother, for which he was punished by law. Later, when Zhou Dayong's mother choked on food and the alley was blocked again, it was that emergency side door of the Chen family that saved her life. After this ordeal, the residents woke up to protect the fire lane together, safeguarding both human warmth and the rules.
