On the day the Phoenix Clan's female emperor emerged from seclusion, a bloodied, featherless bird fell from the sky. It turned out to be her own daughter, whose bones had been stripped and feathers plucked after marrying into the Dragon Palace three thousand years ago. Suppressing her grief and fury, the Phoenix Emperor laid a trap to expose a carp spirit impersonating the Crown Princess and allied with the Dragon Clan's Fourth Prince, who had endured humiliation for years. Her daughter risked death in the Nirvana Pool and emerged reborn, evolving into the Vermilion Bird Divine Maiden, who commanded the Red Lotus Karmic Fire. After the mixed-blood Ninth Dragon Prince's schemes were exposed, he led an army of one hundred thousand demons in an invasion, igniting a war between gods and demons. In the end, the Vermilion Bird Divine Maiden personally settled the blood debt, annihilating him completely, while the Dragon and Phoenix Clans joined forces to seal the Demon Lord. After the war, the Phoenix Emperor passed on her throne and retired. The Fourth Prince ascended the throne and married the Divine Maiden. The Heavenly Dao bestowed seven-colored heavenly rain, bringing ten thousand generations of peace to the Three Realms.
