The daughters-in-law of the Gu family are all extraordinary: the eldest is a Wall Street queen, and the second is an elite venture capitalist. Only the third daughter-in-law, Yan Shulan, is seen as a useless trophy wife who only knows how to swipe cards and shop. When the Gu family is cornered to the brink of bankruptcy by financial tycoon Pei Yufeng using the assets of three gold mines, everyone fears Yan Shulan might say the wrong thing to offend him and urges her to hide in her room. Unexpectedly, Yan Shulan, who has shopped through every luxury brand, spots at a single glance that the Patek Philippe watch Pei Yufeng wears is actually a fake bought from Huaqiangbei! Seizing on this flaw, Yan Shulan exposes Pei Yufeng's fraud and saves the entire Gu family.
