She was the Noble Consort's dowry maid. In her past life, to protect the consort's innocence, she willingly sacrificed herself to a guard who broke into the Cold Palace, only to be branded a seductress by the consort and beaten to death with sticks. Reborn on the day the consort was framed by the Empress, she looked at her former mistress crying for help in the Cold Palace, but this time she turned around, carried a bowl of hangover soup, and walked toward the Emperor's bedchamber. Rising from Noble Lady to Consort and then to Noble Consort, she leveraged her twelve-year memory of the Shen family's ledgers to solidify ironclad evidence of General Shen's treachery for the Emperor, borrowing the royal blade to eliminate the master and servant pair who had once driven her to death. In the end, her son ascended the throne and she became the Empress Dowager—reclaiming everything owed to her with full interest.
