Taotao returns from two years in the future to save her family from an impending apocalypse. She warns her eldest brother that days of torrential rain will soon be followed by extreme cold, frozen pipes, damaged power lines, and a citywide blackout. As food shortages spark desperate struggles for supplies, temperatures will later soar above 50 degrees Celsius, leaving people without air conditioning or fans. Determined to prevent her family from starving to death, Taotao begins preparing for the catastrophe, but her brother initially dismisses her warnings as the fantasies of a child.
