Song Shi'an transmigrates into a disposable background character, penniless and barely scraping by. Bound to a "Cannon Fodder Acting System," he must play a hundred bit parts to survive and make a living. Starting as a masked guard, a poignant mask-removal scene unexpectedly goes viral, landing him a contract with Star Entertainment. By day, he attends classes and delivers takeout; by night, he hangs from wires playing corpses, later shooting to fame with his masterclass portrayal of the deranged eunuch Meng Zhen. Chased across campus, dominating the basketball court, and stir-frying clams at night markets to send money home, he remains a humble soul who turns every minor role into his own crowning moment. Adapted from the Fanqiao novel "The Stunning Heartthrob Only Wants to Play Cannon Fodder" by Fanqiao Tudou Nan.
