In the northern wilderness, an injured wolf cub flees south, returning to the golden grassland of its memory. Yet its homeland has changed: highways slice through pastures, barbed wire encloses ranches, and poachers' off-road vehicles lurk in the shadows. Sheltered by kind herders and the prairie's wild creatures, the cub survives near death, learns to hunt and evade danger, and gradually grows into a true prairie wolf king. However, the poaching syndicate targets this rare wolf king, laying traps, spreading poison bait, and threatening its benefactors. The wolf king must choose between defending its homeland and protecting its saviors. An epic prairie legend of return, growth, and guardianship unfolds.
