The Scrap Collector Grandpa's Lavish Later Life
Sixty-year-old Li Jianguo has lived a life of frugality, burdened with five million in demolition funds yet making his living by collecting scrap. After being diagnosed with late-stage heart failure, he suddenly realized that money is just waste paper if not spent, and life cannot end with regrets. Awakened by the contrast spending and life-extending system, he engages in high-end consumption in front of acquaintances to collect "shock values" to extend his life—from spending to extend life to genuinely enjoying the happiness of "spending money to help people." He wears high-definition suits with old cloth shoes, holds screws in a Qianlong imperial bowl, uses a Rolls-Royce to pull cardboard, and crushes the most luxurious class with the most unpretentious methods. He backs up the kind tenant Lin Xiaoxiao, buying a small shop to send her as the boss lady.
