Following a trial-run accident at the Mingchuan Tower, engineer Chen Mo mysteriously vanished. Late at night, acoustic designer Ye Ning receives an invitation mimicking Chen Mo's tone and arrives at the tower, crossing paths with investigative journalist Du Heng. Together, they encounter construction head Gao Lin and safety researcher Xu Cheng. Trapped within the tower's disorienting acoustic design, which conceals a hidden empty seventh floor, the group gradually uncovers the severed testimonies and two conflicting directives from the night of the accident. At dawn, the missing Chen Mo reappears. Letting go of suspicion, all five confess to their concealments and cowardice over the past three years, piecing together the full truth, facing their faults, and stepping into a fresh beginning of shared accountability under the morning sun.
