Zhang Duoyu, a rural youth forced to drop out of school and herd sheep due to his family's favoritism, rises ten years later to become a ranch tycoon. When he returns home in glory, his father falls gravely ill and his elder brother is mired in debt. His biased father even demands that he hand over all his savings to bail out his brother. Faced with a choice between family ties and his own bottom line, he unexpectedly uncovers the hidden truth behind his dropout years ago.
