Leveraging his deep familiarity with the mountains and his extraordinary judgment, he leads the villagers in ice fishing, earning his first pot of gold and bringing hope to his impoverished home. As life gradually improves, challenges such as giant bears on the mountain and mysteries in the wilderness follow one after another. Lin Ye protects his family and guides his fellow villagers toward prosperity, embarking on his own comeback journey in 1985.
