The Town Shop Closed, Orders Followed into the City
Shen Guoping ran a supermarket in the town for many years, preferring to report overnight cooked food as damaged rather than continue selling it. However, Ma Debiao opened Huimin Supermarket, giving away eggs and offering discounts. Neighbors complained that Shen Guoping's goods were expensive, and even restaurants that had cooperated with him for years turned to cheaper goods. Business became increasingly difficult to do, so Shen Guoping simply took his wife and moved to the city to reopen his shop. Who would have expected that not long after, people in the town successively suffered from food poisoning, the frozen meat bought from the restaurant went bad, and even the milk swelled up in its cartons! When Huimin Supermarket was investigated and found to have problems, everyone finally realized that the supermarket where they could always buy reliable goods at any time had long since moved away.
