The Whole Company Drinks Coffee Together, Yet She Weeps Unceasingly
After new company employee An Qi passed her probation, she loudly claimed she would treat the whole company to coffee to put on a show. An Qi habitually takes advantage of petty gains and owes colleagues bubble tea money. Finding that colleague Lin Lin's coffee shop membership card allows password-free purchases, she plans to secretly misappropriate the balance inside the card to pay the bill. Lin Lin notices the anomaly and sets up a payment password for the membership card in advance. After tallying an order of over a hundred cups of coffee, An Qi makes a fool of herself in public because she cannot swipe the card and is unable to pay the over 5,000-yuan bill herself. Enraged, she maliciously spreads rumors and defames Lin Lin, falsely accusing the other party of framing her. Lin Lin collects evidence and calls the police, and An Qi is eventually sentenced by law to six months of criminal detention, leaving a criminal record, after which her job searches hit snags everywhere.
