The Whole Village Wants to Demolish My Tree, Heaven Does Not Agree
Young man Qin Yue returns to his hometown and plants a frost-resistant forest belt to protect the entire village's fruit trees, but his childhood friend Zhao Jinbao and the villagers misunderstand him. Wanting more sunlight for his own cherry orchard and greater profits, Zhao Jinbao joins forces with the villagers to pressure Qin Yue into removing the trees. They even sign a liability waiver and publicly mock him for spreading alarmist warnings. When an exceptionally severe late-spring cold snap and frost arrive as predicted, the entire village's orchards suffer devastating damage, while Qin Yue's orchard remains unharmed thanks to his preparations. Despite suffering enormous losses, Zhao Jinbao refuses to learn his lesson and maliciously poisons Qin Yue's trees in revenge, ultimately bringing ruin upon himself.
