The Wife Who Disappeared from the Astronomical Bill
When Jiang Che attends a class reunion and goes to settle the bill, Jinlan Hotel maliciously sets him up by fabricating an exorbitant 290,000-yuan banquet upgrade bill bearing his supposed wife's signature and forcibly demanding payment. The hotel staff pile on the pressure and deliberately make things difficult, trying to force him to pay for something he never owed. Calm and level-headed, Jiang Che preserves all the evidence, including recordings and order records. He decisively calls the police and involves market regulators to investigate. Standing firm on principle and arguing his case with reason, he exposes the hotel's fraudulent charges and falsified bills, joins forces with other victims to gather evidence and defend their rights, and launches a hard-hitting, rational counterattack in the name of justice.
