Raised in the mountains and forests, Jiang Ye joins a wilderness survival reality show to raise money for his grandfather's surgery. Facing celebrity guests' carefully crafted personas and the production crew's selective editing, he consistently relies on his true survival skills to guide everyone through severe rainstorms, floods, and cliffside perils, only to be repeatedly misunderstood. Camera operator A'kai and Lin Xiaolu preserve the unedited footage, while Jiang Ye also learns to take up the camera himself. As an old roll of film left behind by his father comes to light, a long-buried past surfaces. In the end, he stays true to his core principles and earns genuine respect for the truth.
