They All Say I'm Crazy for Flipping the Table, I Say the Rules Are Crazy
The rules of Qingshui Town were set by Wang Daqiang. Banquet gift money is at least five hundred; he holds dozens of times, and if others don't return it even once, they are considered insensible. Staged accidents extort fifty thousand, unleashing dogs to bite people, framing and locking people up—everyone in the town nods in agreement. Chen Jinfeng has guarded this for twenty years, giving out three hundred eighty thousand in gifts, while her family has never held a banquet once. After her husband was beaten, locked up, and framed as a thief, she finally saw clearly that these rules were meant from the very beginning to protect only the person who set them. Where a banquet is held for a dog and red envelopes are collected, debt collectors are instead treated as madmen—who on earth is crazy?
