They Laugh at Me for Guarding Equipment, When the Torrential Rain Comes, All Shut Up
Zhao Yong, the person in charge of a riverbank construction project, receives a weather warning from his father, who draws on years of experience. Despite everyone's objections, Zhao Yong insists on suspending work and moving all heavy equipment to higher ground. His decision triggers a chain of crises: his business partner withdraws their investment, his relationship falls apart, and most of the workers switch to working for his competitor, Hao Gang. Zhao Yong is left alone to shoulder enormous losses and endure everyone's ridicule. Facing pressure from the client, a shortage of building materials, and debt collectors showing up at his door, he stands alone guard over the equipment, waiting for events to unfold.
