They Saved My Sister, Yet Still Want Me to Repay Her for a Lifetime (44 episodes)

Seven years ago, in an accident on a winter river, Meng Zhaotang and her elder sister fell into the water at the same time. Their family saved the frail elder sister first, while Zhaotang was sent to live in a nunnery for seven years. Years later, when her sister’s health remains poor, Zhaotang is brought back to the Meng family again, only to discover that her family has already arranged the rest of her life for her. Facing family affection, duty, and her own future, she no longer obeys blindly, but strives to win the right to choose for herself. As the past is gradually uncovered, she also slowly sees the true meaning of kinship. In the end, Zhaotang walks away from the path others set for her, begins a new life at the ferry crossing, learns to respect and protect herself, and finds the peace and freedom that belong to her.
