The world envies the three daughters of the Shen family for their innate destiny of bringing great fortune to their husbands, helping them transform and rise swiftly in power. Yet none know that the absolute prerequisite of this blessing is total devotion. When the young general takes a concubine after recovering, the once-simpleton son keeps an extramarital mistress upon healing, and the marquis heir hurries to abandon his wife after rising through her auspicious fate, three curses of retribution strike right on cue—paralysis, relapse into madness, and crippling illness. The ungrateful men crush their own good fortune with their own hands. The three sisters, once treated as mere fortune charms, ultimately forge their own legendary lives, while all who betrayed their vows meet their deserved, miserable ends.
