Three Days Into the Job, I Called the Fire Department
On her third day on the job, newcomer Gu Yue is intentionally locked inside a 39-degree airtight warehouse by senior employee Zhou Min. The other party is certain the newcomer wouldn't dare make a fuss, but she dials 119 instead. A fire engine drives into the company, and the bullies panic, attempting to gloss over it as a misunderstanding. Armed with audio recording evidence and teaming up with colleagues and past victims, Gu Yue systematically exposes Zhou Min's years of wrongdoing in ostracizing newcomers. From reporting to the police and gathering evidence to filing labor complaints, she makes calculated moves, ultimately getting the eight-year veteran fired and forcing the company to rectify safety loopholes. This isn't a workplace where one swallows insults in silence; it is the story of a newcomer turning the tables to fight back.
