Everyone thought I was just a dodder flower clinging to the Grand Princess, a decorative secondary consort surviving on the Crown Prince's affection. No one knew that the deaths of all the Eastern Palace's concubines, the Crown Princess's fatal labor, and the Grand Princess's rebellion were all part of my schemes. I saved the Grand Princess, and I killed her with my own hands; I used the Crown Prince, yet I guarded his realm for a lifetime. Having climbed over mountains of corpses and seas of blood to reach the pinnacle, in the end, I was undone by a single child calling me "Mother Empress."
