Three Years Later, I Return to Seek Justice for My Deceased Wife
Just as Chen Haisheng was preparing to return to his hometown after achieving success, his wife unexpectedly passed away. Chen Haisheng originally planned to arrange his wife's funeral and then devote himself to developing his hometown, fulfilling his wife's childhood dream. However, he never expected his father-in-law's family to forcibly seize his wife's corpse to arrange a ghost marriage. His in-laws favored sons over daughters and, to raise the down payment for his younger brother-in-law's marital home, sold his wife to a wealthy local family for 300,000 yuan. To protect his wife, Chen Haisheng became embroiled in a fierce confrontation with his in-laws and the buyer. After enduring repeated humiliation and accusations, Chen Haisheng finally succeeded in reclaiming his wife's body.
