Ji Shuangxu, guardian of the Tianque Bridge, has protected it for ten years, yet Meridian Inspector Chi Zhaoye insists on severing the Mirror Meridian beneath it to save the Northern Realm. The Mirror Meridian devours the Main Meridian; in three days, the spiritual tide will backflow, threatening both bridge and realm. At swords' points, Master Ning Bugui reveals the Mirror Meridian was born of Ji Shuangxu's obsession and Chi Zhaoye's severed meridian. To prevent total collapse, they must resonate their dual meridians, exchange marks, brave the Living Earth Well, the Cast Meridian Ruins, and the Cloud Sea Heart Platform to rebuild the true bridge. Facing the Formless Stele, which demands a guide and a lock, they substitute resonance for the lock and descend the first bridge together. Back in the North, Ning Bugui reveals the stele is memory, and protecting the bridge requires collective remembrance. A new stele rises, carved with a single questioning word. The mystery endures.
