Sweet Sweet Is Not Sweet, Specially Curing Defiance
Qin Jin, a fiery and bold young maiden of the Qin family, is renamed "Tiantian" by her stepmother. To escape her original family, she plots with Xu Wen, a poor scholar unfavored by his stepmother, and successfully marries him. After entering the Xu household, facing the relentless harassment of the harsh stepmother, Old Madam Xu, Qin Tiantian refuses to show weakness—publicly standing up to her and cleverly fighting to split the family household, forming an alliance with her clear-minded husband, Xu Wen. The two break free from the entanglement of the Xu family and travel far to the capital for the imperial examinations. Relying on her exquisite pastry-making skills to establish herself in the capital, Xu Wen buries himself in exam preparations. Yet just as Xu Wen is about to welcome the posting of the examination results, the calculating Old Madam Xu actually brings her younger brother and sister along to track them down.
