Mooncake Fragrant, Conscience Bright
Lu Changming, a pastry chef at a time-honored bakery, insists on making mooncakes with fresh nuts and whole egg yolks. Sweetheart Bakery across the street lures customers away with low-priced mooncakes and luxurious gift boxes, and the landlord, Li Qiang, driven by profit, drives Lu Changming out of the old street. After moving to the remote West City, Lu Changming would rather destroy substandard raw materials than lower the quality. Relying on genuine ingredients and authentic taste, Lu's Bakery gradually wins customer approval, making its mooncakes hard to get. Meanwhile, the dark secret of Sweetheart Bakery using moldy fillings is exposed, and the neighbors suffer food poisoning one after another. After the truth comes to light, those who once humiliated Lu Changming queue up to apologize.
