Tough Man's Return
When retired veteran Zhou Dongyang returns to his hometown, he discovers that his mother and younger sister are being maliciously bullied by village chief Zhang Qianshan and his son. Their homestead's scenic area subsidy is intentionally withheld and forcefully seized to be converted into a public restroom, while the villagers are instigated to frequently ostracize the Zhou family. With a cold heart, Zhou Dongyang flattens his ancestral home to build a compliant, paid parking lot. Relying on legal procedures and advance planning, he successively dismantles the series of schemes by the Zhang father and son—inciting villagers to cause trouble, malicious vandalism, impersonating officials to exert pressure, and seizing land under the guise of public projects. Ultimately, he puts the malicious Zhang father and son behind bars. Zhou Dongyang is elected as the new village chief, leading the entire village in developing cultural tourism and truly achieving common prosperity in the countryside.
