Working Overtime Brought a Top Succubus
Xu Yan, a gold-medal female lawyer, is born with yin-yang eyes, yet she can never hear the voices of the dead. Working overtime late one night, Ye Chen, who holds the Register of the Wrongly Deceased Between Yin and Yang, appears unexpectedly. The two strike a pact: Xu Yan investigates wrongful cases with evidence from the living world, and Ye Chen uses yin-yang power to let aggrieved spirits speak. From workplace framing to school bullying, nine successive long-buried cases unfold layer by layer, with clues leading straight to a locked-room unsolved case from twenty years ago and the mastermind behind it all, Gu Yuanshan. Every time he uses spiritual power, Ye Chen bears the backlash of the Heavenly Dao; should he fall in love, his soul will scatter and vanish. Xu Yan takes the law as her blade, and stands before the Court of Heavenly Dao with the nine vindicated cases, proving that mortal law and yin-yang truth can coexist.
